Easy GCSE
Easy GCSE is a fictional GCSE revision website aimed at 14-16 year olds.
Click image to enlarge.The purpose of the site is to provide revision materials and tests that the students can complete online. An exam section was made available where the students could test their knowledge on the subject they are studying.
The teachers area enabled teachers to create class activities and monitor students progress.
The desired outcome of this project was to increase our knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS. We had to work in groups of 4-6 and each produce a section for the agreed design. Later in the module the group had to give a presentation explaining our design and justifying out choices.
For the purpose of this project only the physics topic area was covered.
The site contained many features to enhance accessibility. A CSS style switcher was incorpriated that allowed the user to view the site in a high contrast mode and print mode.
