Revival
Revival is a fictional photo restoration company created to fulfill a university project brief. The brief was as follows:
"A friend of yours is considering starting a new business using the Internet as a business channel for their services. Your friend
wishes to start up a digital photographic retouching business offering a range of specialised services (they have recently graduated
with a degree in photography).
Your friend has approached you because they know you are undertaking a course in Information Systems/Business Systems with Management
and have some expertise in marketing. It is in this aspect that your friend believes you can help"
The chosen method of approach was to produce a clean, modern design that felt fresh and easy to use. A simple 2 column layout leaded it self well to the amount of information I needed to display.
The site orginally contained a pricing calculator where users could total up their order. Because I don't have a ASP.Net compatible server I have removed the calculator.
A "Tips and Tricks" page was added to this site with the intention of attracting web traffic. It was thought that if the site contained content that persepctus users may be searching for, the site would do better in the search engines.
UPDATE:
I'm proud to report that this project (along with the report that fully explained the site) has been chosen as an example piece for the students next year. It will be supplied to them along with their brief as an example of the quality expected.
