Artwork and Design
Artwork & design, along with photography are all provided in-house. Artwork is processed using Corel and Adobe software and can be either to clients' brief or designed by our graphics department. On completion samples are sent to clients for their approval and the finished artwork is digitally transferred to printers' film ready for printing.
Photography
Photography is also available utilising Leica, Hasselblad and large format cameras. Photographs of personnel that are to be taken specifically, are, as far as possible, completed prior to the recording. A picture library for cover shots is also available, enabling photographs to be viewed before a decision is made, this provides an ideal solution for those wishing to make an effective choice and light work of the task, and is particularly useful where a number of people are involved in the choice of cover detail. It is advisable to start thinking of your artwork details, including the front cover, sleeve notes and personnel photographs, well in advance of the recording sessions. If a delay is going to occur then it is in the area of sleeve preparation that it is likely to happen.
Printing
Larger printing volumes are printed via full colour off-set litho, but smaller runs are also available using the latest printing techniques.
